first time gardener

I am so excited to have a garden this year! First time ever! I really have no clue what I am doing, but am excited to learn and hopefully have a little fresh produce this summer. We have weeded the strawberry patches and started some seeds inside to get ready for planting. Devon and I were digging up this one area of the garden and came across some huge roots of something. We dug them all up to then later realize they were asparagus roots. We replanted them so hopefully they will survive.
